     I once thought that by the time the youthful acne stops and before the wrinkles set in, I'd have ten to fifteen years of looking #smokinghot. 


Sadly to say that was a reality that never manifested itself. 


The wrinkles came and the acne, although greatly reduced, stayed. 


To coin a phrase,wtf, {pardon my french}. Just as a side note to the title, DO NOT POP, you can still end up with scarring.


 I have one scar on my chin hence the goatee I now sport. I imagine most women are not willing to grow facial hair to hide a scar.

 Salicylic acid penetrates the pore lining destroying bacteria and will also reduce the look of brown spots. 

As our anti-aging fight continues look for products that are alcohol free, apply a toner and exfoliate.

 Remember we are trying to prevent the skin from looking tired, red and flaky so apply that moisturizer over the treatment.

     Anyone living in the Northern Hemisphere can't wait for spring and summer to arrive and enjoy this special time outside. This comes with a cautionary tale though, prolonged sun exposure at any age will lead to wrinkles, age spots and other potentially worsening skin problems. And the anti-aging tips are-

.....here's the tips and we should all know them by now. Apply a broad spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15, reapply often,{about every two hours}, especially with swimming or exercise.

.....seek the shade. The sun's rays are the strongest between 10 am and 2 pm.

.....if you're spending long hours in the sun. For anyone working outdoors its best to cover up as much as possible. I know its difficult but your older self will thank you.

.....don't smoke or quit if you do. No heavy lecture here, but smoking robs the skin of oxygen and nutrients. It also decreases the blood flow to the outer layers of the skin, damaging collagen.

.....Keep shower time to a minimum. The hotter the water the more essential oils are stripped from the skin, but please for everyone sake please do bath.

.....use a mild cleanser. I suggest, {click link},  mangosteen cleaners.

.....careful shaving. Always shave in the direction the hair grows, replace the blade often,{water actually dulls the blades not the actual shaving}, lubrication is key here. Shaving has benefits by removing old skin etc., just make sure you use a mangosteen moisturizer after.

.....drying. Patting or air drying is always the best.

.....stress, Sometimes difficult to manage but try your best. If you're constantly placing yourself in a state of panic then expect skin problems.

.....#eatclean. The jury is still out on this? We can safely assume that a healthy diet will allow the repair factor within the body to do it's stuff. No great mystery here.

.....sleep. As always adequate sleep is required for those repairs to be done. Best position is on your back.

The "Man-up Punk" Workout--Day1-Week 1

     In today's hurry up world it may seem impossible to get in a two hour workout, but if you're looking for the ultimate in workouts and to get into incredible shape than this series of workouts is for you. Meeting all of the standards of today, you will pack on muscle, build your cardio as if you were doing cross-fit or running, and drop any excess weight to become the shredded beast you want to see in the mirror. It would be advisable to take a break mid way and take in 30 grams of protein. With the first week of this series being fairly, { and I use the term loosely }, easy in the progressive weeks to follow some of the multiple squatting routines will have you literally crawling out of the gym.



    You are responsible for lifting weights{ I'm not your mom}, you should be lifting for a period of time 1 year before attempting this workout,pace yourself. The workout is based on a % of your one maximum lift, it's takes about two hours to run through it, and it stands up to any of today's new cardio workouts. Have fun???
